The Darjeeling Limited

This was funny, beautiful and interesting. What more could one ask for in a film? Or a person, for that matter. The three main characters are fantastic together. (This is the first time I've seen Adrian Brody, who was terrific.) This might be my favorite Wes Anderson movie, and that's saying something! - T

An enjoyable movie. Adrian Brody knows how to work a pair of glasses, can we all agree on that? - A

Eagle vs. Shark

IMDB: Eagle vs. Shark

The second time was maybe even better than the first. And this time around I'm a little happier with the ending. I am, however, very distressed to see on IMDB that Loren Horsley doesn't have anything else on her resumé after this movie. - T

I very much enjoyed this movie. It had many good elements: interesting characters, a challenging situation; and an animal cage match. What's not to like? - A

Once

This was all right. Nothing super great, but nice. - T

Within the first ten minutes I thought, "too much music," mainly, I think because I didn't really enjoy the songs, or the music. The inconclusive romance seemed to be merely a device to create situations in which the characters could sing and play (see above). I also thought the movie had continuity, plot development, and time-span problems. I don't like to go against the wisdom of Captain and Tenille, but in this case, once is definitely enough. - A
