This is the kind of movie that gives "old movies" a bad name. Stilted, banal, dialog is half-heartedly delivered, insipid scene after insipid scene is held WAY too long, embarrassing stereotypes and children abound.... it's all just so terrible. - T
A movie to forget. Cary Grant phones it in, and we end up wishing that the supporting cast of young children had done the same. Deborah Kerr "seems nice," but that's not enough to keep this story afloat. - A

This movie is a classic. Watch it for the great scenes of New York and the gorgeous clothes. Or skip ahead to the real tear jerker of an ending.
