The movie is a very good rendering of the book, but I'm not sure I liked the book all that much. - A

There were certain parts of this movie that were interesting - the periods of absolute quiet (except, of course, for people talking in the theater) and the time shifting early on, for example - but they were not enough to overcome a very unpleasant and irritating storyline. Toward the end, it just feels like a rip-off. If this wins best picture, I am FINISHED with the "academy." - T
