Good, but not great. I'm a little surprised Reese got the Oscar for this performance. It was good, but not out of the ordinary, I didn't think. Joaquin did a nice job, but I couldn't forget that it was him acting the part of Johhny Cash. -A

I have to agree with my counterpart across the aisle, it was good, but not great, and I couldn't stop thinking of Joaquin as Joaquin. My favorite part was the scene in Sam Phillips' studio. They both did a decent job singing, but when you hear the real voices during the credits, you remember why they're actors and not singers. - T

An amazing movie. A little gross in parts, but really well done. Mickey Rourke was very, very good. -A

It took me a little while to get into this, but once Rourke showed up, I was sold. It really is quite an acomplishment. Not your average movie, and that's already saying something. - T

If you feel that the world is run by rich, corrupt, amoral, greedy, self-centered, white men, this is the movie for you. -A

That's for sure! So depressing to think that this is probably just how it really is. I prefer to live in my own dreamworld where everyone drives hybrids, or better yet, walks to the local store when they need bread, milk and eggs. - T

Millions

Cute. The end was a little discombobulated. The boy's enthusiasm for the saints was nice, as was his quest for someone who had met Saint Maureen. - A

Yeah, it was all right. - T
