How can you go wrong with Newman and Taylor? It's a bit "play-like," and the annoying kids and their mother are REALLY annoying, but once the plot thickens up, the last half is fantastic. Burl Ives is great. - T

That Newman sure is purty. He distracted me so much, I never did see the cat. - A

I had no idea what to expect and, frankly, didn't expect much, but this French parody of a Bond-type film is very funny. - T

Funny is a good word for this movie. It is amusing, but also odd. The main character, Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath, is a nice variation on the bumbling-but-somehow-successful secret agent. Plus, he speaks French! - A

I love the Mamet-speak. The Mamet-speak. I love it? Yes. Yes, I love the Mamet-speak. I hadn't seen this since it was released, and it holds up quite well. - T

When I first saw this movie, I liked it a lot, but was troubled by the ending. I kept thinking that if I watched the movie often enough I'd figure out whether at the end, all is as it seems. As of this second viewing, still no definitive conclusion. - A
